The researches in the AK9 Citadel
I read Gabriele Rossi Osmida's work about AK9 with great interest, as it documents the relations between Margiana and the Iranian world until the end of the 3rd millennium. It is a very important point of view that invites us to consider the influence of Mesopotamia and Iran on the southern part of Turkmenistan, which I mentioned in my book "The age of the inter-Iranian exchanges" and in its updating recently published (1).
This subject must be deepened and I think that new important revelations about this unknown world will surely come. So I wish my friend Gabriele Rossi Osmida and the Ligabue Study and Research Centre, that has been supporting these researches for many years, a fruitful job and the satisfactions that their engagement certainly deserves.
