"Born 1969 in Neuss/Germany Enno grew up both in Japan and Germany. After assisting with various photographers and working in a lab for black& white fine printing in the nineties he studied at the Munich Photo Academy. He graduated 1995 with a documentary work on Tokyo which was then exhibited in Munich and published in the "German Photo Awards 1995" catalogue.
Starting to work in 1996 as a Munich based freelance photographer for magazines and companies he also took part in various exhibitions and book publications as "Contemporary German Photography" edited by the Art Director Markus Rasp and "Die Welt als Ganzes-German Photography after 1989" by Ulf Erdmann Ziegler.
Among other awards are a First Prize in the VDI contest 2001 and major contributions to the 1997 Visual Lead Award for single magazine Issue of "jetzt" and Art Directors Club Silver Medal for the "SZ Magazin" story about a Idi Amin double.
He lives in the vicinity of Munich with his wife Ulrike Frömel and their children Mia and Finn. Besides German and English Enno speaks fluently Japanese. Various assignments enable him to travel frequently."
